They are extracted from Agarwood resins in a process that it withholds unique fragrances enlightening one's mood and soul.
What pure actually means
Every oil we sell is 100% agarwood. No synthetics, no alcohol, nothing added to soften it. We buy directly from the small distillers who make these oils, in the regions where the trees are grown and tended, and each one is rested until it has matured before we bottle it in London. It is a slower way of working than going through a broker, and it is the only way we can tell you honestly what is in the bottle.
Seven origins, one tree
Every oil in our range comes from the same tree, Aquilaria. Soil, climate and time do the rest, and the difference between regions is not subtle. Cambodian is sweet and almost caramel. Indian is earthy and herbal. Laos is light and floral. Indonesian is dark and dense. Most people find one they return to and stop looking, and which one that is has very little to do with price.
