Burmese oud is unlike the rest of the range. Wild berries and sweet fruit at the opening, honey wood and soft leather underneath. It is the only oil we carry that reads as bright rather than dark, and people are usually surprised by it.
Ours is grown, not taken from wild forest. The trees are planted and tended, wounded deliberately, then left for years while the resin forms. No wound, no agarwood — it is the tree's own defence, and nothing else produces it.

The fruit is not added. Nothing is added. It is simply what this agarwood produces, and it is the reason Burmese oud has its own following.
How to wear it
- One touch on the wrist, a light dab at the collar. That is a full day.
- Give it ten to fifteen minutes before you judge it. The opening is not the scent.
- Spring and summer suit it, and it works in daylight better than most oud.
- Expect six to eight hours on skin.
How it compares
Burmese sits between Cambodian and Indian — sweeter than the earthy origins, fruitier than the caramel of Cambodian. If you like Cambodian but want something less obviously sweet, this is the next one to try.
